The analysis of the biopsy is performed through the staining of the tissue and the evaluation of the morphology of its cells under an optical microscope. This approach is neither fast nor quantitative, has an intrinsic variability in the interpretation depending on the experience of the histopathologist, and provides limited molecular information.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile is-vertically-aligned-center\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 36%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">THE SOLUTION.<\/mark><\/strong> <br>The EU-funded TROPHY project aims to develop a novel <strong>label-free vibrational <\/strong>microscopy approach that can image molecular biomarkers with unprecedented <strong>speed and chemical selectivity <\/strong>for a rapid, precise, and <strong>non-biased<\/strong> tumor analysis. To this purpose, the TROPHY microscope will blend in a unique fashion elements of several microscopies developed in the past decades, namely photo-thermal infrared<strong>,<\/strong> <strong>Fourier transform infrared <\/strong>and <strong>Digital Holography Microscopy,<\/strong> bringing them to the unprecedented ultrafast timescale. It will also integrate Artificial Intelligence to produce fast results and assist in the tumour grading process even during surgery.<\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img provide an accurate diagnosis for curative oncosurgery, guarantee complete resection during intervention, determine the best therapeutic approach tailored to the patient, and identify resistant tumor
