The work focused on the use of&nbsp;<strong>label-free Raman microscopy in tumor biopsy slice cultures<\/strong>, highlighting the potential of advanced vibrational imaging approaches as versatile models for head and neck cancer research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The presented work was awarded the&nbsp;<strong>3rd Prize in the Experimental category<\/strong>&nbsp;of the DGHNO-KHC Visual Abstract Awards. This recognition represents an important acknowledgement of the scientific quality of the research carried out within the TROPHY consortium and of its relevance for translational head and neck cancer research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis recognition is a great encouragement and reflects the dedication, expertise, and collaborative spirit of everyone involved in the project,\u201d said Dr Nadja Ziller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"548\" src=\"https:\/\/www.trophy-project.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/modforwebsite-1024x548.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1336\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.trophy-project.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/modforwebsite-1024x548.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.trophy-project.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/modforwebsite-300x161.png 300w, https:\/\/www.trophy-project.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/modforwebsite-768x411.png 768w, https:\/\/www.trophy-project.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/modforwebsite.png 1527w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The award also underlines the contribution of TROPHY to the development of innovative, label-free technologies for the molecular analysis of tumor biopsies.
