Victor Alcolea Rodriguez has recently joined IFN-CNR as a post-doctoral researcher for the TROPHY project. He brings with him a Ph.D. in Medical Chemistry from Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), Madrid (Spain). His expertise lies in nanomaterials, nanotoxicology, Raman spectroscopy, and microplastics. In his role under Dr. Renzo Vanna’s supervision, he will primarily work on validating a new microscope within the TROPHY project. Specifically, he will employ the new TROPHY microscope alongside a home-built spontaneous Raman microscope to analyze cells and tissue samples from patients undergoing various treatments, with a particular focus on evaluating immunotherapy in head and neck cancer.
